Turkish March - Mozart - Misa Mead - unaccompanied Euphonium Duet |
The famous Turkish March is the last movement, marked Alla turca, of Mozart's Piano Sonata No.11. It's one of Mozart's best-known piano pieces. Mozart himself titled the rondo "Alla turca". It imitates the sound of Turkish Janissary bands, the music of which was much in vogue at that time.
Misa Mead has made a new arrangement of this classic work, and it's scored for two unaccompanied euphoniums.
Misa has also just recorded of herself playing both parts on this super video, please take a look! https://youtu.be/wjXhBFVbduc
