|
Here is the brand-new Euphonium Concerto by the Belgian composer/ conductor Robert Groslot, as recorded recently by Steven Mead accompanied by the band of the Belgian Guides.
It is a quite stunning new work, modern in its language but still accessible. About 18 min in duration.
This work is available here with piano accompaniment, but will also be available soon with Wind Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. Suitable for only advanced players this work features quite extreme registers, as well as one or two extended multi-phonic sections.
Steven regards this as one of the finest euphonium concertos of this genre in existence, highly recommended!
