Kol Nidrei is an Aramaic declaration recited in the synagogue before the beginning of the evening service on Yon Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Max Bruch, completing the work in 1881, originally scored Kol Nidrei, Op. 47 for cello and orchestra. Steven Mead did this edition for euphonium (trombone) and piano.
